How to Subscribe to This Blog in Outlook

The end of last year I stopped sending tech tips stating I was looking for a better way to share the information instead of static PDF files.  Well I have this now in place.  I have a website that is set up at http://tonystechtips.com.  This website will have all the articles I write on tech tips and educational technology.  It also contains links to other websites that I find while I am out surfing the web.  This will make it really easy for me to keep you up to date on lots of tech topics and trends in education.

There are a few different ways you can get this information easily.

  1. Go to the website on a regular basis to see what is new and what cool new tips there are
  2. You can subscribe to the website in Outlook and get all the new articles sent directly to your email.  To do this follow the following steps.
  • On the left side of your email window when you are in your inbox right click on RSS Feed and select “Add a new RSS Feed”
  • In that box copy http://tonystechtip.com/home/atom.xml and hit add.

As I add posts it will automatically update that tech tip folder with the new posts and you will see the number of unread messages just like your email.  This will give you the most updated information right in your email box.

You can also do this same thing in a variety of online email clients like Gmail and Hotmail just look for the RSS feed option.
